January 14th.. already!
First of all, let me all wish you a very joyous year and definitely a better one than last year!!
It has been a year I’d rather forget (hence the not writing for so long) but with renewed energy and a bit more hope, I’ll try to keep you on your toes in 2013!
Last year, I wrote a few tutorials for the “Making Jewellery” magazine which was definitely more challenging than I first thought.
It is not easy to explain a technique having only 6 or 9 pictures at your disposal! It was quite a learning curve and totally opposite from what I usually do which is: I have an idea and play with it.
I had to think what I was going to make, run through the script in my head imagining which pictures needed taking at which stage of the project.. and then stop to take those pictures!
If you have used any of the articles to make something, let me know. I would love to know what you came up with :)
Until our snail pace internet connection improves (there is hope!) you’ll have to be patient with me, endure my moaning and whining and poke me when I have dug myself in again.
