"Imagine...

there's no heaven

It's easy if you try

No hell below us

Above us only sky

Imagine all the people

Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries

It isn't hard to do

Nothing to kill or die for

And no religion, too

Imagine all the people

Living life in peace..."

Words, even more relevant today then 46 years ago when they were written.

Some people prefer the bottle or a smoke, others head for the hills to seek solitude in nature..

We all have different ways to deal with the relentless stream of reporting on terrible events and senseless violence.

I find my sanity in my art corner where a fresh sheet of paper is waiting to be draped in splashes of colour and imagination. Here's what I made today. Acrylic paint on watercolour paper.
