Hmmmm a philosophical pondering here... I have been working on this painting of our local canal and as it is in oils, I have to wait for the painting to dry for a week or so each time before I can get on to the next layer or batch of leaves.
Each time I think, yes.. a bit darker here and a few leaves there and I will finally be done with it but then I spot another section which could do with a few more leaves.. or a tad of colour or more detail.
Fast forward a couple of weeks and I am still at it. Argh... why can't I just be happy with painting a fluffy blob on a canvas! Here are the various stages so far... I'll let you know when I am done with it :)
